August on Long Island brings the beautiful color of the sunflower fields on the east end of Long Island NY. Acres and acres of fields in bloom and with the setting sun, it is breathtaking. People travel for miles to reach the various fields. This on is at the North Fork Potato chip Company and they time the sunflowers so fields are in bloom through September. East end north fork is always a treat for the eyes. old farms and quaint villages.
