"We had a great stay. Hotel was sparkling clean. Lovely pool and simple but very good breakfast with freshest vegetables and feta every day. Coffee machine worked well and the options for coffee were fantastic. Plenty of parking near hotel, and a nice village and great beach in walking distance were of course what we came for. I wish we stayed even longer. "

"We can’t comment on the breakfast as we decided not to stay for the following reasons: - air conditioning was not working properly (we asked for help but the lady was filling in and couldn’t help) - the bed’s mattress was far too hard (I have issues with my back so that was a non-starter, might not bother other people) - reception and the corridor to our room reeked of smoke - parking was advertised and when we were asked where we should park we were told we couldn’t on the drive next to the hotel but that all streets were free parking (no spaces that we could see that wouldn’t block other hotel entrances). Yes the price is low, however we managed to find a comfortable room nearby for only a few euros more. The only advantage we could see to this hotel was its central location but the walk from the other hotel was only five minutes more. We booked this hotel based on its excellent reviews but really don’t understand why they were so good. When we left there was no one on reception to explain why we decided to leave. There were named envelopes presumably for other guests so it looked like there wouldn’t be anyone coming back. We can’t recommend staying here. "

"Wonderful stay. The host was great. Quick to reply to messages and very knowledgeable about the area. The house was great. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool isn’t massive but was plenty big enough to cool down and the children loved playing in it. The area is stunning. Amazing views and a number of great beaches within a short drive. We were treated to a hot mousaka on our arrival and the kitchen was brilliantly stocked with wine and treats and home made cheese. On one of the days we got a tour of the farm and a the kids got to ride a horse. We felt very looked after. Brilliant place if your looking for a quite stay in the awe inspiring Crete mountains. "

"Ignored and Disappointed: Poor Communication by Hotel Management When we extended our stay, the hotel staff failed to inform us about a special 50% May discount. Although the manager later compensated us nicely, our experience with the hotel’s loyalty program has been extremely disappointing. Since our stay, we've made multiple attempts to register for the hotel’s loyalty membership. Despite discussing this directly with reception upon checkout (we were promised a follow-up that never came) and sending three subsequent emails, we've received no response whatsoever. It feels as though the hotel is deliberately avoiding our registration to prevent us from receiving the 10% discount on our next visit, especially concerning given their initial oversight regarding the 50% discount. We remain puzzled by this complete lack of communication from hotel management."
