"We were delighted with the ease of communication with Florence who had done a rapid turnaround from the previous clients and was willing to meet us in person had we needed help with anything. The kitchen was great, it had everything we needed and apart from a couple of drawers which had some crumbs and debris in them from previous guests, that had been overlooked in the cleaning process prior to our arrival, the kitchen was perfect. A few things were rather well-worn so we bought a couple of new knives and cutting boards to leave for the next guests but apart from that, it was absolutely wonderful and perfect, and felt like a real home from home. We absolutely loved everything about the house which was more beautiful than we had expected, and contained some lovely things that were necessary to remove from the reach of babies, that made us feel welcome and respected as guests, and added to the sense that Rousse felt like it was "ours" fir the time we were there. We were amazed by the phenomenal, incredible, garden that added at least 10 stars to the experience. We felt truly welcome and sincerely grateful for the sense of being privileged to spend family time in a house, garden, and community that literally exceeded our dreams and expectations. We would really love to return if possible because we can't imagine a better experience as a family with several tiny children. "

"We had a wonderful holiday at Gîte Poiriers!The communication was excellent, and Francine and Bruno gave us a very friendly welcome with delicious cookies and a lovely bottle of rosé. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay was provided: the garden is nice and spacious, and there was plenty of play equipment (balls, ping-pong table, pétanque, hammock).The swimming pool is also excellent, and it can be neatly enclosed for small children. The kitchen is also fully equipped. It's a charming gîte with beautiful authentic details.A perfect place to completel unwind!"

"Perfect for overnight stop en route South or North. Lovely lady (owner?) Rooms recently decorated and so so so clean...bathroom spotless. Restaurant on site...was able to sit outside. Formula evening menu which is great when you don't want to spend too mush. Great nights sleep and lovely breakfast, the lady owner constantly re freshing items on breakfast buffet, tidying and wiping the surfaces. Thank you for a great stay."

"Great value for money in this no frills one night stay. We got in past midnight and left at 8am and we were able to coordinate key exchange. AC was great! Would definitely stay again!"
