"Over all the service and the staff were great. The spa and gym areas were great and topped up with towels and slippers. I wasn’t keen that the sink was in the bedroom and that once you have showered you had to get out into the bedroom to dry off."

"Everything about our stay was 5-star. Very nice hotel. Our room - which was just a standard room was a decent size, very clean and had a super big bed. The mattress was firm (very firm) and ok for the three nights we stayed. Breakfast was excellent and there was no shortage of items even toward the end of the sitting. I loved the bar area and the prices were very reasonable - no more than what we paid in the centre. We went to the spa and I also used the gym. Both are small but despite it being the weekend and there being several other users it wasn’t crowded. The only thing missing from the spa is more relaxing seating. It’s more of an in-and-out spa. The location is also great 5 to 10 mins into the centre and a similar time to get to restaurants the opposite direction. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again."

"The staff were fabulous and the highlight of this hotel, beautiful historic property in a great location Bed was comfortable, breakfast had great and plentiful options. Washroom was horrible. Shower /bathtub was so thin a hairbrush barely fits in the width of it at the front. Had to shower sideways. Handheld clip broken so needed to lay it on the floor of the tub to wash then pick it up after. Large faucet/handheld/rainfall shower head multifunction controls confusing to use."

"This was an excellent place to stay for an early flight out of Riga. Some of the photos for this property are quite out of date-- our room was refurnished, clean, and well maintained. Also, the woman running the front desk was one of the friendliest people we had encountered in our travels-- kind and warm. We stopped by a bit early in the hopes of leaving our bags at the desk until check in, but since our room was ready, she let us check in and leave them in the room. Very easy walk to the airport- smooth sidewalk for rolling suitcases, well-lit, and I saw a few other walkers going to work (at 5 am)."
