The location was great, 5min walk to main square in medina and many places to eat. The accomidation were ok but the best part was the staff. The host Yassine was wonderful, he helped arrange taxis, made breakfast, and helped with directions and ideas. I would gladly stay there again. It was like staying with your favorite brother.
Staff go out of there way to communicate, assist in travel planning, and make the stay extra enjoyable for their guests. Listen and are extremely interested in travelers stories and countries. Treat you like family.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Staff in the Riad are great they provided us with great place to see and good tips.
The riad itself is a bit dated the toilet was not screwed to the floor for example and it was pretty hard shut the water off.
The breakfast were great and the morning tips on what we could do was a great help
Had a lovely stay at Riad Dar Tiflet. Yassine, the manager went out of his way to ensure we had absolutely everything we needed, from recommendations for our time in Marrakech (placing bookings at restaurants) to organizing taxis from to and from the Riad. The area is central and quaint and whilst only a 9 minute walk from the main square, it offers a great place to unwind after a day spent roving the souks. Will definitely be back!
The men that work here are amazing so helpful and kind. Excellent service and will go out of the way to help. Nice comfortable place to stay. Close walk to the square and to the souks. If they offer to taxi you to the riad I would accept as it would be hard to find for the very first time but then is very easy afterwards. :)
Now this a real Riad. Its a century old building renovated for western standards of comfort. If you need anything, just talk to the manager, Yassine. He knows the city, has experience in many trades and is always delighted to help !
Very quiet little hostel. It's 2 properties together. Yassine was amazing as per all previous reviews. Picked us up from main square. Showed us all the good spots to eat. Welcomed is with tea and biscuits and sat down to chat a bit and explain how the accommodation worked. Also printed our tickets and booked our taxi back. If we're in marrakech again. Will definitely stay there again. Nice quiet and lovely rooftop seats.
Great value for money, great location, great stay!
This little Riad was excellent value for money. We had a really enjoyable stay here, in the heart of all the action, down a quiet little alley in the Medina.
It was a little hard to find upon arrival, so would definitely recommend having google maps open on your phone!
Yassine, the manager was absolutely lovely. He had great advice about the local area and couldn't do enough to get us settled and enjoy our time in Marrakech.
The room had a lovely Moroccan décor and theme, a typical authentic Moroccan Riad. Although the bed was a little hard and some of the features were a bit worn (a wobbly tap and lamps that flickered if the wire was knocked), we still enjoyed our stay as the features of the hotel were lovely. A really nice open space on the roof and the breakfast was really delicious also. Would definitely stay again if we were in Marrakech and would recommend to others.
This was our first time to Morocco so we wanted to experience staying in the Medina.
Riad Dar Tiflet is a short walk to Jenna el-Fna which is convenient. It is also a short distance from Hotel Ali where you get the best currency exchange rate.
The rooms are brightly colored, comfortable, and clean. You can get breakfast each day for 5 euros but we skipped that so I don’t know what all it includes.
You get one towel per person and one roll of toilet paper in your room for the length of your stay. Rooms are not cleaned and towels are not replaced while you are there. We ran out of toilet paper, but luckily had packed some on the advice of friends.
The host was amazing upon arrival and met our driver to take us the remainder of the way in. He sat with us and had tea and then disappeared for the remainder of the stay. We had a bit of a challenge when it came time to settle the bill as we could not find him. Then it ended with a miscommunication via What’s App on where to leave the key with the cash in the room. It was ultimately resolved but a bit disorganized.
The Riad was just renovated. It looks very good. Closed to the souls, square, and palace. Nice experience staying inside the Medina. Cars can’t drop off directly outside the riad. You need to take your luggage for little distance
It is fantastic traditional Moroccan Riyad, Mr Yassin the man on charge is very helpful, chatty, happy person, can arrange any local visit with Taxi coming to take you anywhere with reasonable price, can book you tickets to any nearby city, breakfast is really nice
We had an amazing stay in Riad Dar Tiflet. Yassine, our hose, was the best. We will be coming back! Definitely recommend this cute and clean riad in the heart of the medina to anyone traveling to Marrakech. Excellent all around!!!
Very cool experience. Yassine really added value to the stay by booking taxis, excursions and providing great suggestions for visits and dinning. Also breakfast was really local, excellent and affordable. Super nice stay.
Room was clean, private bathroom. No air conditioning, but there was a fan so no problem with the room temperature.
We had a wonderful time in Marrakech staying at Riad Dar Tiflet. Yassine is an amazing host who made us feel so welcome, he went above and beyond in helping us make the most of our time in Morocco. The Riad itself is clean, quiet and really homely. It's a bit tricky to find for the first time though, so make sure you have a working phone in case you get lost like we did! If you're going to Marrakech and want to stay in a traditional, comfortable and friendly Riad then look no further! Thank you so much Yassine!
This property was charming, well laid out, spotlessly clean with lots of idyllic spots to curl up with a book, sit in the sun or watch the city go to bed. Situated very close to Djemaa Al Fnaa square, one can enjoy the excitement then stroll back to the quiet of the Riad. But the very best part of this place is Yassine, the manager. As first time travelers to Morocco, we placed our trust in Yassine and he was amazing! From recommending places to eat to organizing drives and tours, his expertise and sensitivity was evident in all aspects. Highly recommend Riad dar Tiflet and Will hopefully visit again.
The host Yassine is a very friendly and inviting character. He really has a love for life and made us feel extremely welcome. He kindly showed us around all the best places in marrakech and has a deep knowledge of the city. If you have any queries about things to do or require advice then Yassine will take great care of you.
The room was furnished with beautiful traditional Moroccan furniture and the AC was perfect for the hot July weather. I will be coming back again and recommending this place to all my friends! Worth every penny!
In our 3+ week stay in Morocco, we had the chance to experience quite a few hotels and riads -- what we loved about Riad Dar Tiflet was that Yassine was the most attentive, friendly, and caring host; and the breakfast was an affordable add-on and it was really good (compared to other places where you might get only cold things). It wasn't noisy at night and the location is close to many things you'd want to see while in Marrakech.
Just a note: the double room is a little small for two people if you have your suitcases open, and the washroom has a curtain not a door, but there is another private washroom available if you prefer. Neither of these things were an issue for us, but I thought some readers might want to know.
