Excellent place to stay with wonderful, welcoming people! We stayed here for a couple of nights and absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back for a longer stay at this beautiful riad. The perfect place to experience the charm and hospitality of Marrakech. Highly recommended!

Incredibly helpful staff and beautiful riad. Only downside is that there isn’t parking onsite, but there is a parking lot available a few minutes walk from the riad. Clean rooms and great breakfast!

Beautiful Riad, everything was well kempt- staff helpful, nice roof top, pool, hammam where I had an excellent scrub and massage( dar karma package) she is an excellent esthetician obviously schooled with methods. Highly recommended and I would love to stay again if I make it to Marrakech again. The city itself, especially the Medina etc were so crazy! This place was the peaceful oasis. I had tour pick up confusions etc, but people actually cared and tried to help me. Thank you so much 💖😇🙏

The staff are so friendly and ready to help. The room was very comfortable and I loved the big, cold pool. We also enjoyed the hammam. The neighborhood is good, just a little walk to the main square but not too bad.

The breakfast there was delightful and healthy. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. I had a truly excellent massage in their upstairs massage room. My room was great, well air conditioned and quiet.

Can’t say enough about how wonderful it is at Riad Dar Karma. The Riad and my room were both stunning. It’s right in the Kasbah, so very convenient, but super quiet. The staff is very friendly, everything is clean and the breakfast is very nice. If you have VIP status with Expedia, you will even get a free transfer from the airport. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Amazing Riad. Friendly staff. Great location.

Brilliant Riad with lovely pool, hammam and roof terrace. Incredible room, which was huge, with detail that made it feel really traditional! Loads of areas to relax in, after, or before, a day around Marrakesh. Great breakfast and amazing staff.

The Riad itself is gorgeous, has a relaxing ambiance and is very comfortable. The free breakfast is a bonus, often served with fresh fruit. We used the Spa services and it was very nice. This Riad is fairly accessible compared to other Riads in the older Medina. Generally, the area is clean and we always felt safe. One comment I will have to make is that this Riad didn’t feel as welcoming as the other we stayed at. The staff didn’t seem very happy, and weren’t as attentive or interested in your experience.

Overall a great experience. The riad organized a pickup from the airport directly to the riad, there is a short walk from the drop off point because the roads are too narrow for cars but the driver was nice and knowledgeable, directed me directly to the front door. The riad is located in a more quiet and chill part of the Medina which I appreciated. The kasbah has a Main Street which is normally bustling at several parts of the day but it was much more chill in general than the souks in the medina. Inside the riad it is quiet and beautiful. There are several public places to hang out in, terraces and patios and little nooks everywhere you go. I had a very pleasant time just hanging out in the riad. The complimentary breakfast every morning was good and quite filling. It was varied each morning which was nice and made me look forward to each morning. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable as well, Naoual the manager was very kind and responded quickly to every question via text. Being in communication via text with the manager made it easy to get any information needed.

We had a really nice 5-night stay at Riad Dar Karma. It is a very traditional Riad and has everything you will need. Very peaceful, especially compared to the craziness of the Medina. Breakfast was really good on the rooftop and the staff were generally very helpful. The riad and rooms were maybe a little dated but nothing too bad. We had the room right by reception which we were worried about being noisy, but it wasn't at all. Comfortable bed (although there was a dip in the middle), so slept really well every night. Also, a large room with air conditioning (which we didn't need as it was always nice and cool, even in the 35 degree heat). There was a safe in the room, but it wasn't fixed to anything and there were no locks on the door to stop people going in whilst we were out, but it all felt very safe and we had no issues. Shampoo and shower gel were provided and the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and the bed re-made etc. Cannot fault the housekeeping at all. Location wise, it is close enough to walk everywhere (about 20-minutes from the main square) but there are plenty of local bars and restaurants if you don't want to venture that far. If you do want to get out, taxis are very cheap, especially compared to the UK. The most I paid was 80 MAD (around £6.50) for a 15-20 minute trip. Just make sure you agree the price with the driver before you go, and haggle.

What an AMAZING riad! Tucked away in a maze of traditional medina alleyways, the large door swings open to an oasis. Soft lighting and the smell of orange blossoms greet you as warmly as the staff who open the door. Naoual, the manager, was so kind and helpful to me. From having a staff person escort me to my pickup location for a pre-dawn excursion to scheduling hammam and dinner, to arranging transfer to the airport - her attention was top-tier. Whenever I saw the staff there were smiles, the meals they prepared were fresh and delicious. The room was nicely appointed, the rooftop was a lovely space for relaxing or enjoying a meal. The body scrub and massage were like nothing I have ever experienced - SO good! I would return to Dar Karma without hesitation. I’m glad I decided to do riad rather than a hotel. It definitely elevated my experience in Marrakech. [side note: the only reason I gave the surrounding area less than 5 stars is due to construction/rebuilding in the vicinity. It does not however take away from this lovely community and riad]

We had such a lovely time at this riad! Everything was absolutely beautiful, the people were so kind and the food was delicious. Location was convenient to the souk and outside restaurants. My 3rd time in Marrakec -Horrible experience! 1. We got a very small and very dark room with a small window facing some back ruins while our friends got a room which was twice bigger, brighter, with a nicer bathroom and view for the same price. When we approached the front desk lady to find out if she made a mistake she offered that we pay more for an upgrade instead of paying us back for a room that we obviously overpaid for. She also offered that we sleep outside on the rooftop if we are afraid of darkness. Her inadequate sense of humour and rudeness was through the roof. 2. On the last day we booked airport transfer which should cost 22 EUR for 1-4 people. She tried to charge us twice the amount because we were 4. Normally it’s the taxis that try to rip you off in Morrocco rather than hotels but In this case it was the other way around and we paid 15 for the taxi instead of 44. 3. The riad charged my bank card on the evening before check out without prior notice even if I specifically chose to pay at the property. I wasn’t asked whether I want to pay by cash or card or I if want to pay with a different card. Never happened to me before! We didn’t feel welcome and nobody said goodbye when we left Despite the horrible customer service the riad looked nice and is in a great area of the Medina (Kasbah) , walking distance from Jemaa el Fna , Les Bains the Marrakech and Saadien’s Tombs and La Sultana. I would not return to this riad though and don’t recommend it.

The Riad is charming, we were welcomed so nicely and brought mint tea. Our room was spotless and comfortable and breakfast on the terrace was delightful with homemade bread and pancakes and freshly squeezed juice. The manageress is very knowledgeable and helpful and she made wonderful suggestions of where to go. We will be coming back.

Thank you again for the upgrade and your warm welcome. the hotel is ideally located and in a very calm street. We loved the good taste of decoration and breakfast was delicious.
