Nestled in a Green Lake community, this cottage is just one row off the lake and offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Step inside to find a cozy and modern interior, complete with a brand-new beds, appliances, couch and more. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the screened-in porch or take in the fresh air on the new patio with table, chairs, fire pit, and gas grill.

We have a fenced-in yard, perfect for keeping kids and pets safe. The cottage is equipped with central air for hot days and a new furnace for cool nights, ensuring a comfortable stay no matter the weather.
Take a 5-minute walk to the beach or Reilly's Irish Pub, or launch your boat at the public landing 3 minutes away. Plus, parking is plentiful for anyone towing a boat at the cottage. Ice fishing is also a great past time in the area and xc skiing during the winter months. The Green Lake Conference Center is only 15 minutes away, and the charming town of Princeton, home to the world-famous flea market every Saturday May-Oct is only 10 minutes away.

Charming Cottage

We loved everything about our stay! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The host was very helpful. We appreciated all the extra touches that made the stay fun and relaxing. The neighborhood was great, and we felt right at home.

Difficult to find at night.

Place was small yet cozy and clean. We didn't stay much as we were fishing all day.Loved the little extras, like travel size sundries provided as there is little shopping nearby.

Fantastic!

Kate & Tom's cottage is very clean and very comfortable with many personal touches. The location in a very quiet neighborhood with walking distance to the lake is fantastic. The large fenced yard was wonderful for the dogs to roam. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Quiet and clean peaceful cabin

Spent 5 days at this cabin. We had a great time. Enjoyed our coffee out in the screened in porch. Seen wildlife while driving around. Highly suggest staying here. We will again!!!

The Minnow July1-4

This cottage was the best. Weather didn't cooperate one day so we enjoyed staying in this cozy place reading and watching movies. A beach and restaurant both in walking distance was perfect. Kate was a great host. So quick to respond. Great little get away. Will definitely be back.

Mother’s Day Getaway

My Mother and I booked this cute little cottage for our Mother’s Day Getaway. The cottage was everything it said it was and so much more! Kate is a wonderful host and the cottage is one of the best VRBOs I’ve ever reserved in all my years traveling! So welcoming and had everything we could ever need and want, we enjoyed a fire on the patio and had the best surprise for our weekend watching the Northern Lights dance across the sky above us! Definitely a trip we will always remember.

Quite A Mellow Stay

Peace and quiet. We’re part of the older Boomers generation so this is very attractive. The yard is completely enclosed so our 4-legged kid could explore. This was our first time to stay in the area around Green Lake and it was peaceful and relaxing. We’re sure it could have been more exciting but that wasn’t what we wanted. As for the amenities it was absolutely complete.

Came looking for lake trout

We were struggling to find an economical stay in Green Lake close to the water for some fishing excursions. This place fit the bill. The Minnow doesn’t have fish cleaning facilities but we came prepared after talking to our very responsive host. Ample room to park a truck and boat trailer. The cabin accommodations were great! All bases are covered and then some. Excellent stay and would recommend. Thanks for having us!

Anniversary Getaway

Had a vice stay in this little cottage. Everything you can possibly need was there for our use, with one exception, I've learned to travel with a night light for unfamiliar places. Lovely patio that we didn't have much time for time for except for morning coffee. Nice peaceful neighborhood. Only one block to the water

Wonderful property and host

The good: Great location, walkable to a lakefront park. Quiet, pleasant neighborhood. Extremely well appointed. Clean. Comfortable bed. Large, fenced in yard with many outdoor amenities. Responsive and helpful host communication. The bad: Really, nothing. I'd be searching to come up with anything actually "bad". The verdict: I would happily stay here again, with no hesitation.

Small Cottage Big Stay

The property was very nice, well kept and clean. Good size yard for the dog to run around in. The lake is right there and so is the local bar. All the neighbors were friendly so wave hello if you see them. Bringing your own golf cart is a huge move, it's a two minute drive. Driving your car works too, there's plenty of parking. The local towns are nice to explore. If you're from a big city the night sky is amazing to look at.

Stay at the best place ever!

My wife and I stayed at Kate's place with our dog over the holiday weekend and it was everything you could imagine - this place is amazing! The entire property is stocked with everything you need - from cookware, to linens, games, a fire pit - a huge fenced in property for kids/dogs to run around in and everything you could imagine - it's just such a wonderful place to stay. Kate is super responsive and kind - any questions that we had were answered in a super prompt time. The property itself is clean and comfortable, we felt right at home. We enjoyed our time at the sandy beach near the property, the walks around the area were peaceful and the locals around the area were so kind. We cannot wait to be back again - one of the best places you can stay in the area and such a fantastic spot! Looking forward to the next time we're there! Thanks again!

Peaceful, Comfy, and Relaxing "Mini"

I'm a senior and stayed at this comfy little cottage with my little dog. Beautiful hydrangeas around the front of the house and a lovely patio highlight the fenced property. Inside it was spotless, comfortably furnished, and the host thought of everything you would need to prepare a meal, watch television, read a book, or enjoy a barbecue on the patio. I slept well, and my dog enjoyed the yard so much that it was hard to get him back inside. The host left a bottle of wine, snacks, coffee K-cups, and plenty of fresh drinking water- greatly appreciated since the tap water has a lot of iron in it. Neighbors are nice and friendly, and I felt very safe at all times. The fish fry at Reilly's was a treat as well as fresh baked goods that I bought at the bakery in Princeton- both businesses recommended by the host. The lake was only a few minutes walk away and the water was clear and inviting. I highly recommend a short drive to the county park nearby, where there is a beach, boat launch, and picnic benches. If you are looking for some time to relax and reset, this is the place for you to be in early Fall. I highly recommend the Minnow and I am planning to return. It was the nicest, cleanest, most comfortable rental I have ever stayed in, and I've rented quite a few. Very dog friendly, too! Thank you!

The Minnow is a sweet space, small but completely doable for our family of three (and our Bernedoodle)! Lots of charm and great amenities. The neighborhood is quiet, neighbors are very friendly. Yard is perfect for evenings by the fire, especially if you bring your furry friend (it’s fenced in!) The lake is beautiful and there is lots of nearby food and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay!
