"A greeting from Cody the owner's dog was exactly what I needed after a 10-hour drive. I'm sure he gave me the look that said you know we are pet friendly, why didn't you bring your dog? The accommodations were great, the extra amenities were appreciated and the quietness and beauty of the surrounding property. I was on a business trip so I didn't get to enjoy the property as much as I would have liked to, but if I'm in the area again I would certainly book it again."

"I had received check in instructions from the host a few days in advance, it specifically states not to lock the handle because of a key issue. No big deal for us during our stay, but whoever had the rental prior apparently couldn’t follow those instructions, because when we arrived the door was locked, and we were unable to enter the property. After finally getting in contact with the host - we obtained entry and found that the place was a mess! There was trash throughout the house, the beds were slept in and the bathroom and kitchens were dirty. The host offered a refund on the cleaning fee and we clean and do our own linens or to send someone to the house to clean. I requested both. Someone did come to the house and clean but we felt we had to leave the house to give some space and pick up some food for the evening and we’re gone over an hour, and they were still there when we returned. And I’ve yet to see a refund on the cleaning fee. Otherwise, once the house was cleaned, it was good. Ample space within the house, it had everything we needed and lots of hiking places. "
