Maplewood Vacations

"We arrived on a Friday. There was plenty of parking. Front desk was fast and easy. They offered us whichever floor we wanted. We choose to stay on the main floor. The room was clean and the beds were soft and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. The only thing was the shower handle was hard to turn and the toilet surprised us with it's powerful flush. In the morning we had breakfast. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, pancakes, fruits, yogurt, juices, etc... It satisfied all of us. The property sits...

"Parking was free and adequate. Staff was nice; we had no special needs or requests. We appreciated that they let us use the lobby for about a half hour family get together before we flew home. Breakfast was versatile and well maintained. For the cost, We appreciate that it was affordable and we will likely return again next year for our yearly trip to Minnesota"

"We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location."
