"I loved the new rooms, very nice. The heated pool was heated and wonderful to swim in. The staff were excellent!! I was a little disappointed with breakfast, both times I went down and there wasnt any "hot" food. Just Bagels, cereal and waffles. The restaurant was also receiving maintenance, so we had to leave the property to find food. I would however stay there again when I go back to Presque Isle."

"Staff was absolutely amazing very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and beautiful are only complete would be that the pool was freezing cold and we couldn’t even get in it. We did tell the front desk and they said that they would let maintenance know in the morning other than that we will definitely stay there again and kudos to the staff. They are really amazing."

"It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter.
