People of Manteno are down to earth and very welcoming of visitors. I met a number of people in my visits there over the past two years with a heart of an angel and consider them no lifelong friends.

Transportation is non-existent. Not many choices for food, sans pizza

It is a small town with mom and pop style services...especially food choices. Nothing to write home about. I guess it is okay if you are traveling and just stop for the evening.
