Built in 1922 at a cost of $62,450 this 200 foot octagonal brick tower is a local landmark. It has a 200,000 gallon capacity but is no longer in use. It is part of a historical park in the central district of Manistique.

This property was even more beautiful in person. It was meticulously maintained and perfectly located down an isolated dirt road with other cabins nearby. The view was fantastic and a true UP cabin. The oven was updated when we got there and that was a lovely surprise! We played lots of games and a great atmosphere to just enjoy ourselves.

Because of COVID19, not much was open but we drive thru part of the town area and found a diner opened for take out. Then for breakfast found a few places opened for take out as well.

Loved the Manistique Boardwalk. Took many Pure Michigan photos here. Highly recommend eating at the Upper Crust Cafe and Deli.
