I booked this hotel because it advertised a shuttle service to the airport. However, I ended up having to pay for a Grab because the shuttle only operates from 9 AM to 5 PM.
I made my booking on April 27, and when we arrived on May 4 at around 4:30 PM, we were told the hotel was fully booked. Instead of the room we reserved, they placed us in a condo unit that was dirty and did not feel safe at all. It was not as advertised. There were no towels, and the overall condition was unacceptable. The staff member who assisted us was even wearing a nightdress, as if she was about to go to bed, which felt unprofessional.
After everything we had been through that day, I complained because this was not the hotel I booked. At around 11 PM, they finally called and said they would transfer us to another room. We had to wait outside until 11:45 PM before being moved.
In the end, the new room was still disappointing—it had dirty towels and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The entire experience was exhausting and caused unnecessary stress.
Very disappointing stay. Not as advertised, poorly managed, and not recommended.
I didn’t even think to eat the free breakfast!
