"Breakfast menu was great. It had a coursed menu. We tried to grab dinner but during the time we wanted to go it was reservations only. It may had an event going on but at least we were able to call for room service."

"Check in was a little protracted. I didn’t think I needed a detailed explanation of how to find things on the property using the map. Turns out I did as the map is somewhat confusing. Rooms are lovely, amenities for bath and different types of pillow options were a treat. My room came with “butler service” which is really nothin different than you’d get from any nicer hotel…turn down service etc. I was very disappointed that my room choice didn’t allow for the in room chef and breakfast did not come with my stay."

"Having stayed here 8 years ago and thoroughly lived it, I was a bit apprehensive going back. I needn't have worried...just as beautiful as before. The rooms, the pool, the staff, the views...stunning. Yes, its a little tired in places but that adds to the charm. The service from every member of staff was top notch, they couldnt do enough for us...there was 9 of us over 5 villas... Thank you to Payogan for making this stay special"

"Beautiful resort with stunning pool by the forest. Rooms are exceptionally clean and beautiful with greenery views. Service is beyond excellent. The resort upgraded to another room immediately because the AC was not cold enough. They also checked my room before i left and found i had left items behind. Food is limited but i always took the free shuttle service to the main town for meals at the restaurants. I absolutely recommend this resort for quiet jungle holiday away from the noise. The staff is simply fanastic. "
