Happy Place - in the Heart of F.D. Roosevelt State Park

10/10 Excellent

"The chalet was quaint and cozy in the best possible way. It was the perfect place to stay to visit the surrounding attractions or sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature"

The cutest cottage in all of Pine Mountain!

8/10 Good

"The apartment is excellently located in downtown Pine Mountain and has very comfortable living arrangements. There is good parking. It is an over garage unit so there are steep stairs to climb. The owners has done a good job planning for guest stay. The unit is beginning to show some aging with burned out over stove and counters lights, two light socket issues and handle on bath under sink door needing attention. The microwave is only 1000 watts output which I understand is normal however it does not meet minimal requirement for some frozen meals. The owner has done an excellent job writing a guest informational booklet. The guests are responsible for minimal clean up and garbage deposit in a trash can down stairs (normal request) however the guest are responsible for washing dishes. For me this is a safety/health concern as there is no dishwasher and guests must wash dishes and utensils by hand and place back in cabinets and drawers. If the dishes are to be left out for sanitizing somewhere else it is not stated this process is in place. Good stay with a concern."

Garden Inn & Suites

10/10 Excellent

"I booked this hotel as somewhere to rest on my way to Callaway Gardens. I got the deluxe room for the in room heart jacuzzi which is essentially a hottub and I loved the jets on my skin. The hotel also has a s separate shower. The heart jacuzzi is by the bed. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean I stayed mainly for the heart hottub. The hotel is located next to Chipley's Fried Chicken which is good and a Family Dollar. The owner is very nice and professional. I recommend staying here if you're going to Calleway Gardens which is a hop'skip and a jump away. Prices of the regular rooms are cheap. The deluxe rooms are higher but still less then $200."

Mountain Top Inn and Resort

8/10 Good

"Very quiet, beautiful location with a wonderful view of the valley from the ridgetop. The room was a bit small and lacked a dining table with a couple of chairs that would have been useful for having lunch or playing a game in the evening, but clean and well appointed for a short stay. Wifi was decent and easy to access, staff was helpful and friendly. Overall a good location for day trips around the area, priced at a reasonable rate."
