Hôtel Palace Royal Centre-Ville par JARO

"We enjoyed the clean room but the pull out bed had a huge divot in it and even though we booked months in advance it was difficult to find a room with two beds. And that is throughout the city. The room was clean but could use an update on the decor. Lamp shade was torn, the side table wabbled and the curtains were dated and felt dirty to the touch. Some one going in there with an attention to detail would go a long way adding to the experience. The staff were friendly and the hotel is in a good location for shops, etc. We opted out to have breakfast there for an additional fee but the Second Cup Cafe is a short walk away and makes a decent coffee/latte. Also, the doors that open to overlook the pool and large screen displaying an aquarium scene did not open so that was a disappointment. Overall, a decent spot to stay if you plan on spending most of your time outside of the room. 3.5 stars."

"We enjoyed our 4 night stay, this hotel was very well located within walking distance of a lot of restaurants with lots of cuisine options and the beautiful Plains of Abraham park just up the street. We did not move our car but walked to downtown everyday for sightseeing and activities. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel."

The host of this establishment was exceptional - very dedicated and helpful."

"Place and location were great. BUT, our back door was arbitrary opened by a stranger at 11pm one night. When the intruder realized someone was inside, they took off. When we reached out to the host, we were told that maintenance would check it out “asap”. They came the next day. We slept that night with the doors blocked by furniture. We never heard of any reason/outcome from the incident, only that they came and checked it out."
