The Skowhegan By Kasa
"Very cool recently updated property in an old mill with very high ceilings and exposed brick. Everything was super clean. Our room was more like a suite with a separate bedroom and a sitting area(both with TV's). Small fridge and microwave perfect for storing drinks and heating up leftovers. Bathroom was large and modern. Few things to note - this is an unstaffed hotel so all communication is via text. Also there is no coffeemaker in the room - there is a kettle and coffee and tea bags, but the on-site restaurant has coffee and opens at 7AM."
Lakefront Getaway with Kayak, Canoe, Boat and dock.
"The house is at the end of a dirt road and is nicely secluded. There are houses on either side, but not visible at all. The only way I knew was because of the two other docks. Fishing was good off the dock for perch and pickerel. The yard was large enough for our dogs. There are several kayaks and a canoe available."

"Need a public restroom open for use before registration. Hard to pay much attention to registration process if you have been on the road for a couple hours and gone directly to hotel. Starts stay out in negative note. The experience was positive after that. "

"I booked Bingham Motor Inn for a night before our white water rafting. Surprisely everything works so well. The room was spacious, modern and clean. It was very quiet. it has microwave, toaster, coffee machine and a mini fridge. The checkin was very smooth by presign a code. The staff answered my questions via text messsages which was very helpful when I was in remote areas before checkin. I would recommend it"
Abbot Trailside Lodging
"The facilities and location were great. My only comment is when I made reservations, I made the assumption that "trail side" lodging meant next (or very near) to the Appalachian Trail which we had come to the area to hike. The facility is actually next to a fairly busy ATV trail which I should have known by researching the facility better. The facility is convenient to the town of Monson and not too far from the AT, so all was well. Just a heads-up for future guests."

"The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast offerings were fine, the staff was pleasant. The exterior of the motel needs quite a bit of work. We were relieved the room was much better maintained. One complaint about the room - poor lighting."

"Spent a long weekend with family at the lodge- Jonathon and his wife were great hosts and quick to respond for any help or questions. We fished and hung out on the dock all day , small paddle boat to take out on the lake which was great with the kids. Quiet clean rooms and conveniently located by the wedding venue we were attending."
