"Hidden gem in the back of old Albany. Good value for money and a very well-kept, clean property with all the amenities you require, ample parking and great check-in/check-out systems."

"Very efficient space, easy access, great communication"

"A hidden gem. We are hoping to make this our annual couple's retreat. Great location, gorgeous room and we would happily have sat out the back watching the waterfall over a drink forever. The only drawback, and it feels like a big one, is that we have to go back to our normal life now."

"Very cute, warm cosy room. Tastefully decorated and such an amazing shower with a rain head as well!! Easy checkin, just a 5 minute walk to little manly beach and a short 5 minute drive to Whangaparoa shopping centre. All in all a beautiful spot and place. Just be aware there isn’t a full kitchen, just the usual toaster, capsule coffee machine and hot water kettle. The hosts gave a nice little touch couple of chocolates each upon arrival as well."

"The property is cool. We took our elderly mum. The entrance to the house is flat and was easy for her to navigate. The house is well appointed in Kiwi chic, very comfortable beds, bathroom with shower and bath is very tidy, address was very easy to find, 2 mins from the Warkworth Township. Steve is a top chap, nothing is a problem. The sheep on the other hand were a complete disappoinment, generally disinterested in us."

"A well appointed, spotlessly clean, and oh so comfortable hideaway, with lovely bush views. Hearing kiwi calling in the night and kākā during the day added to the feeling of being somewhere very special. Our hosts were lovely, and generous with their time and suggestions of things to do. The bach is just up the road from the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary (and night-time kiwi spotting), and the Matakana Market and Cinema are just 10 minutes away. We'll be back!"

"Great accomodation and great people.Beautiful location."

"Lovely property in a good location with short walk to Matakana Village. Very clean and quality fittings. We would like to have had a microwave for convenience and lack of a TV seems a bit odd. Otherwise a very comfortable option for a couple."

"A well priced apartment adjoining the owner's home. Is a good location to get to all popular sites at Whangaparoa.A comfortable bed which ensured a good sleep. The addition of a toaster would be good for breakfast but you can use the sandwich maker to heat your bread."
