"This is a newer hotel so everything is brand new and clean still. The pool and pool area is beautiful. The bar and restaurant closes early so its very difficult to get something to eat or drink past 10'ish, you would have to call a cab and go some where to buy whatever, The breakfast spread really needs to be more vast, this is an international hotel, needs to be more options and MORE STAFF. Its $20 pp, one day I literally had 1 piece of toast and a coffee and was still charged $20 for that! Ridiculous! Besides this, I think this hotel has great potential and can definitely be enjoyable to most. Its closer to the city, not not walking distance to food or anything like that, You'd have to drive for sure or take a cab"

"My wife and I were pleasantly surprised very pleased with our stay at this hotel. This hotel ranks with any 4 star hotel chains in America. We loved EVERYTHING about the property, the EXCELLENT staff at the Front Desk, the bellhops, and the doormen. The breakfast was great...Try the omelet with spinach, cheese and tomatoes...SUPERB!! One recommendation for breakfast is to have jelly provided with toasts. We highly recommend staying here. One funny anectode: My wife was so impressed with the ladies guest bathroom that she had to go take pictures as we were leaving for the airport. Should we revisit Guyana we know where we would be staying."

"Amazing hotel , very spacious .. the issues I had was the women staff at the pool side , they are all Spanish , they don’t understand English properly, they don’t know what’s available on the menu . The customer service with them was horrible . Front desk staff was amazing. The room is big , spacious and had lots of closet space, the ac was constantly leaking water in the room but other than that I would definitely stay here again"

"I book this hotel last minute for two nights because it was very accessible to get around Georgetown and catching up with friends and family. The staff was very polite and helpful, My room was very clean and was able to enjoy some late night on the balcony. I would recommend some kind of fruit to go with the breakfast. Thanks for the unlimited coffee and the complementary snacks, juices and water in my room. Will definitely stay here again. I felt safe and secure."

"I like the antique of the building and furniture but the glass door in the room was not maintained by cleaning the glass. The curtains had dirt spots, and if this was maintained, the overall would have been excellent."
