"Nice"

"I was definitely disappointed upon arrival when realizing this is just an old motel with a slap of paint on it that they’re trying to promote as a “boutique hotel“. The bed was a glorified couch, bed, on a flimsy frame and horrible wire springs that caused it to nearly folded up on you when you lay down. It smelled like it had been doused in Febreze. The tub in the bathroom was cracked, the door to the room didn’t close properly, and in the 30 minutes, we were there someone tried to get into our room twice. We did not feel safe, and definitely did not feel like we were in a clean environment. I would definitely not recommend this spot. We ended up going to a different property with oceanfront views for only $10 more per night, we could literally walk out our door onto the beach. The room was clean, safe and 1000 times more comfortable. Do your research, don’t just rely on one source for reviews like I did. There are much better places to stay in the same price point."

"Our stay had two issues, of which one was resolved by the hotel staff, and the second was left unresolved for the duration of our visit. First, we booked three identical rooms through Expedia, all of which were to be pool-side rooms with 2 queen beds. When we were checking in, the hotel claimed we had booked two pool side rooms and one standard room. After we were checked in, I pulled up the prepaid reservation and pointed out to the staff the discrepancy. The hotel staff resolved this issue with a $50 gift card of my choice. The second issue was the hot tub. I am a chronically disabled vet with herniated discs in my back. I knew the waves at the beach would introduce extra discomfort, so we specifically selected the hotel because it had the hot tub. The first night the hot tub started warm, but began cooling while we were in it around 9PM. The next morning the pool and hot tub were the same low temp and my wife reported the issue with the hot tub to the front desk staff. The staff informed her that the hot tub had just been repaired and would take several hours to heat up (which was understandable for that volume of water). Around lunch time, we checked to see if it were any warmer, and it was still the same cold temp. We were told that maintenance had just replaced a part about 20 minutes ago and again told it would take several hours for the temp to rise. We checked again at night and were told a contractor was coming. It was still cold the following morning at checkout."

"Room has just enough space for necessities. There are no closets or dressers, so be prepared for that. The property is two separate buildings and the breakfast area is only in one. You may have to change buildings to go eat. It wasn't a problem for me, but I figure it's something to mention. The location was great. It was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go. If you come in at night, the road to get there is hard to notice, but it is indeed there 😊 Overall the hotel has it's ups and downs, but it is only a matter of preference. "
