How this hotel got almost almost 8.0 rating is crazy to me. The room we stayed in looked like someone had kicked in the bathroom door - the wood around the frame was splintered and held on with screws. There was no secondary lock on the main door. These are minor repairs that cost very little money that would improve the room dramatically, yet they chose not to do them. I would never stay there again or recommend them.

Parking was fine. Toilet leaked badly. Coffee pot was nasty and no decaff provided. Soap only thing provided. No shampoo, conditioner etc. Staff was friendly. Never found the advertized hot tub, but didn't go back and ask. There was a small outdoor pool. Hard to get to. You need need to know where the side road is or risk getting run over.

They would not change the sheets and we stayed two days. They told us they changed the sheets once a week if the room is not rented. They have a sign in the room stating if you ruin sheets towels anything you will automatically be charged and the amount is pretty high for the item. It feels like they could put more effort for the amount that they ask for.

The housekeeper was cleaning the top floor and threw water on the top of my truck that was parked under her. The management didn’t do anything about it, but that it was no big deal. The sheets in the rooms felt like they had not been changed up under the sheet between the top sheet and fitted felt crumbs. Look like the pillow covers had been slept on the sheets smelled sour. The room smelled like mildew, but the shower was the best thing of my whole day. The continental breakfast in the morning was less than horrible with limited selections and super small dining area. The Family lives at the hotel so that tells you what you’re dealing with I would not recommend this establishment

Good for the money

Obviously this is not a 5 star resort but for the money, it was fine. The staff was polite. The room was very clean, but outdated. Contrary to what the website says, the only hot tub is apparently in one of the private suites but all the ground floor units appear to be handicap accessible but I'm not sure about bathtubs and things like that. There is a small pool which was very nice. It was very clean and it apparently was brand new as far as resurfacing and tile will work. And although it's not technically a continental breakfast, they had the typical free breakfast. I think there was cereal orange juice, some fruit, some toast, a Waffle maker and coffee. As with any hotel, you can hear the people in the other room, if they're too loud, there is a train that goes by. I did not see any Golf course. Early Monday morning ,the garbage trucks come and they are very, very loud, but other than that, it was pleasant.
