"The owner was very very generous, friendly and helpful. He treated us as if we were part of his family. You don't get this treatment very often. The location is very close to the entrance El Zaino for the Tayrona Park. The vegetation around the property is fantastic. The only negative side is that the cabins are very close by the road and there is a lot of noise day and night. For the day it might not be a huge problem, but at night if you have poor sleep you might suffer from the noise."

"Really nice place to stay. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Nice little shared garden and small pool, as well as covered patio in the top floor. We really liked staying here. The hosts were very kind and made tasty breakfast. I got terrible food poisoning from the restaurant next door and our host kindly me made a delicious soup the next day to help me feel better. Lots of highway traffic noise, but with the window closed it’s quiet."

"We arrived at hierba buena and the people working there had no idea that we had a reservation. They called the owner and she told us that there was absolutly no place for us and that we didn’t have a reservation. I then showed the E-mail we got from Hoteles.com, and she simply said, no that’s not true, I can’t help you. "On day one we were in a standard room in tower 2 (newer tower out of the two on property) but there was water maintenance being done and we were without water for over 3 hours which was an inconvenience for us and the lock box was not working. The staff immediately offered us a room change to tower 1 to a jr suite and it was perfect! The view of the ocean and two pools from the balcony were beautiful. The one restaurant on property is delicious and good prices. The beach is also quirt and clean. Great for families."
