Don’t book if you are a light sleeper as the rooms are not sound proof in any way you will hear the other guests walk in late people having conversations outside like there isn’t even a wall. Room was clean and had a nice kitchen. Though the host gave me a ring of three keys and didn’t even bother to show me how to open the room and main door which proved to be difficult."

So, the shuttle service sounds magnificent, but doesn't work in practice. The hotel was OK, but they are aiming for this "Alice in Wonderland" theme that is poorly achieved, with the final result just looking tacky and cheap. The hotel restaurant serves burger... I am traveling from the US, burgers is the last thing I am looking for in Spain. The local food excels! No need to try to reinvent the wheel here."

"We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. The hotel is very central with the Gran Via a few minutes walk away and a Metro station right outside the hotel. We were given an accessible room with a massive bathroom but the accessability bars etc didn't bother us since we were just there for a few days. The breakfast was incredible with a huge selection. Everything was very tasty and fresh and well worth paying extra for. The public areas were kept spotless and the scent being pumped through the reception area is absolutely incredible. We visited the indoor pool and its does the job but nothing spectacular. The only niggle we had was the sound/vibration of the Metro which seems to run right under the hotel as well as the traffic outside. We were on the third floor so maybe its not so bad on the higher floors but the sound was enough to wake you up."
