"I really appreciated Michelle's warm welcome, and the fact that my dinner was ready for me when I arrived after a chaotic day and whiteknuckle drive in the rain. It was both comforting and delicious. The place was beautiful and historic, and my room very peaceful. And the fact that there is live music 36 5 days a year is brilliant!"

"The staff were amazing. My partner has a allergy to scents and our room was heavily perfumed. We were able to view another room which was much better and we changed rooms and enjoyed our two nights. We really appreciated the staffs care and kindness with this issue. The breakfasts were amazing. Lots of choices. We would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The stunning home was in immaculate condition when we arrived. The host gave very clear instructions. The vibe in the home made it so easy to relax and spend quality time together. Everything we needed was there, and we couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful everything was. It was a perfect spot to cozy up in front of the fireplace, watch the game, and enjoy some munchies and wine. Highly recommend and we will be back! "

"This is an exceptional cottage with lovely views of the lake. It's just a few minutes drive to Westport which has interesting shops and a good grocery store. The owner was so cooperative and easy to deal with that I have booked a time in June and can't wait to get back to this wonderful cottage. The only caution is that there are stairs to get to the lake which should be considered for someone with mobility issues. "
