The staff were genuinely welcoming, really friendly and helpful throughout. The breakfast was excellent. What I loved most was the cozy communal area with a beautiful fireplace. And if you're driving, they've got proper parking on-site, which is always a bonus in these historic towns. One fascinating thing I discovered through a bit of research using Claude while learning more about Lymington, is that there are historic tunnels running beneath the building! It's these kinds of hidden historical details that really add character to a place and connect you to the town's story in unexpected ways. Would definitely recommend if you're visiting the area."
