We came for a funeral. We arrived late Our room was so very clean, and comfortable. We left by 10am. Easy check-in and checkout. They accommodated us by changing our room to the ADA room. Thank you

They do a contactless checkin which is a little differant but was ok. The proce was good and the room was really clean. The beds were pretty comfortable. There is nothing fancey about this property amd its a little ways off the highway but not bad. But for the price it was perfect. Clean comfortable and the town is very friendly. Resturaumts are a few miles away so bring food with you or drive a few miles. But ya i would recommend this place. Staff was very friendly.

No staff on site, which we knew upon booking. Room was spacious, bathroom tiny and door scraped the floor. Plugs were loose. Accommodations were adequate but little services nearby. It is a good stop along the route for travelers.

Friendly service. Informative in regard to dining. Clean and comfortable room. Could use new carpet, the bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable but the flooring was completely worn out. The floor was uneven and felt spongy and unsafe. Carpeting is threadbare. Lighting fixtures need replacing.

The bed itself was awesome. Picture worthy! The room was clean and comfy although the tv placement was odd. Very good for the price. Would have been nice to have at least a little continental breakfast and a regular coffee machine. Very unique!

The room had everything we needed, refrigerator, microwave, ample space and even a Keurig. The first thing we noticed when we came in was that it smelled clean. I had no issue with this well-stocked and clean room. The bed was comfortable. I’m sure it would have been quiet except that we were there on the 4th. The fireworks stopped at a reasonable time so it was not a problem. Check in was easy and friendly. I would book here again.

Overall not bad

Motel was a nice little family run motel! The service was great! But the motel needs to be upgraded. Several things in the room were broken/damaged and the bathrooms are very little. When we walked in the room also had a smell that I’m not sure what it was, but we got used to it. Overall it wasn’t bad but I think we would stay elsewhere next time!

First of all, the service was excellent. I ended up getting a flat in my rental car and have to have to replaced which got me to the property a couple of hours late. I texted the owner at 12:30am and he responded and arrived shortly afterwards without complaint even though it was obvious I had woken him from sleep. I really appreciate that he was kind and understanding. The property is very safe and spacious, and very conveniently located. I was using this as a base for hiking King's Peak the next day and it's the best closest place to stay, other than literally camping at the trailhead. The room had a huge King bed that was unusually high off the ground and in a knotty pine frame. Neither were a problem, just something I noted. The room was clean but showed signs of wear-and-tear but nothing that interfered with my enjoyment. I had a great (though shortly than wished) sleep as the area around the hotel at night is totally silent and I could see the stars because there is so little light pollution. I would stay here again for the convenient location to the trailheads an hour south in the mountains.
