I liked Transient house because it seems the best balance between all criteria - value, service... but also elevation: it is located high enuf to give great views but not too far from valley/ village. "Not many frills, but it comes with a kitchenette (not many restaurants in Basco), plenty of drinking water, and AC. Walking distance from the airport, very helpful staff. Mattresses and pillows are high quality."

"Lovely quiet resort right on the beachfront. The beach is very clean and clear. You are able to snorkel straight off the beach. There also is a small boat to hire. Delicious food at reasonable prices and fantastic sunsets. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Only cold water available, but not an issue in the heat. The room had a fan which was enough to keep cool at night. Lovely place. Highly recommended. "

"This property is a steal! Super affordable price, beach front, and hospitable staff (Ate Emma). The only thing missing is wifi, but for it's price, you won't mind. The place is near degisit and Lighthouse, ermita hill, and there are many stores where you can buy. This is a budget-friendly but nice place. Thanks ASJ and Ate Emma!"
