For me the Marriot ticks all the boxes. First class amenities, lovely staff, spotless room and the location happens to be in the right place also however would stay here if it meant a longer commute

Fantastic location to the train station. The area was close distance by taxi to shopping mall and eateries. It’s a short ride away to the grottoes. Staff were lovely and spoke some English. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a lovely variety with flavours of the East and West.

To the Longmen Grottoes, you have to walk around 1 km. Turn left from the hotel toward Luoyang Railway Station. Pass the station and turn right. On the next intersection you'll see a big sign "80m to busses 40, 81". So, turn right and find bus 81
