"Lovely gite in a quiet village, with a self service farm shop a 5 minute walk away. Shower/wet room and toilet on the ground floor,excellent for anyone with restricted mobility.Upper floor and 2 beds accessed via a beautifully made staircase., they have a very talented carpenter!The property was clean and tidy on arrival, and it has a good sized enclosed back garden, great for dogs and small children.Communication with the owners was excellent, any queries were resolved quickly, bearing in mind that the owners also run a family farm.The village is very pleasant, but has no village boulangerie. Fresh eggs, fruit, veg and locally made cakes and preserves are available at the farm shop just down the road. The nearest shops are a short drive away. Guines and Ardres are both nearby, and we recommend the Clinique Veterinaire du Camp du Drap D'or for the return trip to the UK for animals. The Foret de Guines is excellent for dog walks and mountain biking, Nordic Walking also being a favourite pastime here.We'll be back :)"

"Perfect start to our our holiday in France. Minutes away from the Shuttle and the amenities in Calais. After driving down from Manchester it was the perfect place to spend the night prior to driving down to the South of France. The breakfast is a fantastic start to the day, fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, baguette, cheese and cold meat as well as fruit juice, yoghurt and cakes (Madeleins). Beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep. "
