We loved our stay here. The suite was very clean and comfortable and it was in a great location very close to Lucca's wall. We loved the breakfast as well. We are vegan and when we asked about options our host was so accommodating and helpful.

Villa del Papa is a gorgeous property perfectly located between Lucca and Pisa. The small village is charming and there are conveniences within easy walking distance. We had perfect weather for the pool... even in May!! You will enjoy your time at Villa del Papa!

Perfect boutique hotel at the center of Lucca! Very clean with many nice touches. Host Debora was amazing! I felt right at home the minute she welcomed me at her property. Great location, very convenient. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Lucca!

Short walk to walled city, safe neighborhood but most of all fantastic staff. I have never seen a group of people that are so kind, helpful and willing to do anything for their customers. We had an incident that required an ambulance in the very early hours of the morning. The night desk shift manager took such good care of us, calling ambulance, explaining to us in English what was going to happen. Just had 24 hours to spend in Lucca. It was a great stay, the staff was very helpful from the moment we arrived. Franco, who took us to our room doubles as the hotel bartender at night. Hotel Villa Casanova was one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany! Everything about this place was special. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, huge shower, and enormous soaking tub. The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. From a lovely, abundant breakfast spread with friendly and efficient staff to a roster of well-informed, helpful and friendly front desk/check-in staff, you are pleasantly surprised at every turn. House has the feel of prior centuries, but is well maintained with modern conveniences. Two block from the old city on a quiet residential street. Three blocks away the other direction is a bakery and several restaurants. Supermarcato is within a reasonable walk

We stayed for 3 nights in the Puccini room. The room was very large, the bathroom was nice, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel is within walking distance of practically everything in Lucca, moments from the Walls, cafes, and shopping. This was a fantastic stay!!
