"This hotel is outdated and poorly maintained. Although it’s marketed as a full-service hotel, housekeeping isn’t actually provided - despite a sign in the room directing guests to call reception for it. When we called, our request was ignored. We also found bugs in our bed and reported it, but nothing was done. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this hotel; it falls well below acceptable standards in Australia."

"Our experience at the Royal Hotel in Singleton was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful from check -in, Bar and restaurant and the rooms were fantastic could not be happier. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.😃💕💕"

"OK. I want to give a better review than I am giving, but I just cant. The place is run down - it was clean, but very tired. Mattresses were the real cheap - old spring type and we could feel every spring. The main bedroom - I couldn't use because there was no power near the beds, so I had to sleep in a single bed to be near a power point. "Great place enjoyable "

"Travelled with my husband and two toddlers (1 and 2.5 year old) and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and beds were so comfortable. Loved the big open area and the kids enjoyed running around. We loved the farm animals! My kids were obsessed! Definitely will come back so we can do more activities at the resort when they’re older."

"Harrigans Hotel was fantastic! Great room, great location and easy to work your day around. The pub meals were well done. Unfortunately, reception at Mercure to collect key and when speaking on the phone to Amarn, my experience was not good. Abrupt, short and could not explain why the situation occured."
