"This was priced and advertised as a deluxe penthouse suite, it was a penthouse suite. There was nothing deluxe about it. Our first night there the people below us had a domestic dispute to the point where the police arrived to get things sorted out. When I inquired with the front desk in the morning, no one knew anything about it. I asked them who do I call if this happens again, and they didn’t know. "We had a wonderful stay at Casita Tortuga! Brian and Lucy are great hosts! They were responsive to our needs and gave us suggestions to make our adventures better. The Casita is beautiful - located right on the beach with an amazing view from the wall of windows facing the ocean. It's the perfect getaway for 2 people. Sunrises and moonrises were amazing. The Casita is vey well equipped with whatever you need for cooking and dining, and Los Barilles is just a few minutes away for plenty of dining options. Snorkeling to the north is excellent. Definitely recommend renting an ATV for at least some of the time you are here - there's a wonderfully scenic road that parallels the ocean for miles and it's a great drive, with snorkeling spots and places to eat as you head north. "
