We spent Easter weekend in Mexico for Semana Santa, which is one of the most popular holidays for Mexicans besides Christmas. The weekend consists of parties, spending time with family, 4 wheeling, and going to the carnival. For such a small town, they do the celebration big!!! They recently changed their name. During my check in it took longer than expected due to this circumstance. Initially they asked for a payment when this was previously done thru Hotels.com under Hotel Araiza. After I showed them the receipt, they acknowledged.
