"Parking is 10 minutes walk away, but that is stated in advert, bags drop off works well, cottage is in the heart of Looe, but really quiet. Only issue was that the double bed was a bit small for us, but probably no room for a bigger one in the property."

"Beautiful cottage, but beware of the incorrect parking information advertised on the Hotels.com listing. Sea Pinks is a lovely little cottage in an excellent location, close to Looe’s beach, restaurants and shops. It was well equipped and had everything we needed for a few days. The stairs are very steep and narrow, as other reviewers have mentioned. Our main issue was that Hotels.com advertised the property as having a free parking, which was one of the reasons we chose it. However, the check-in instructions from Sykes Cottages told us to unload nearby and then use a public car park. We ended up parking at Mill Pool, just over half a mile away, at an additional cost of around £26 for a weekly ticket. We contacted Sykes Cottages by message, phone and email to ask about the advertised free parking but received no response. The listing also stated that the cottage was adjacent to a golf course, which did not appear to be the case. A really lovely cottage that I would otherwise happily recommend, but unfortunately let down by misleading information in the listing and very poor communication from the management company."

"Brilliant Holiday thankyou. Staff more than helpful and very polite. They had a wifi upgrade during our stay and went out of their way to keep us informed on progress. Quite a climb up to room but Hotel is on side of a steep hill with amazing views from Balcony Sea View Rooms so you kind of cannot get amazing views without the steps exercise up to the rooms but maybe in the future a lift may be the icing on the cake? Room was spotlessly clean and regularly serviced. Continental breakfast had excellent breadth of products from Crumpets to various cereals to yoghurts to fresh fruit and croissants with a cooked breakfast option if preordered the night before. Rooms have a really useful and unusual self catering option with hot plates, kettle, fridge and microwave all built into a swish sink unit that is great for doing a meal or two or a basic breakfast to eat on the balcony. A rare possibility in any hotel. Thought the FieldHead Hotel was great. Parking was pretty easy once you initially find the steep entrance route in. Best to forget the car once you park up. Cornish Shanty singing in The Old Ship Pub in West Looe on Thurs Night was a traditional Gem and this fab little pub behind the Fire Station has timbers in its construction from The Sunk ships from the Spanish Armada and later additions in its extension from Timbers from ships sunk in the battle of Trafalgar! And the foods amazing there so check it out!"

Dog friendly detached Nancecliff Cottage-enclosed garden & ocean view-Cornwall

"Information provided was excellent: check-in & out, use of facilities, location and places to visit.The Host was very responsive and helpful.The house is attractive with lots of space, a separate dining room and living room and a well stocked kitchen with utensils, plus tea, coffee, biscuits and even dog treats. There was also a lovely human welcome of scones, jam and cream and a fab doggy welcome bag with a toy, bandana and treats.Sited half way up a steep hill, it only took me (68 yrs old with a slightly dodgy back) 5 minutes to walk up or down and then you're in the heart of Looe. You can walk to East Looe for the doggy beach or Hannafore Point.The views from the tiered back garden are fantastic; you can see Looe bay and the sea and out of the windows there are trees and plants everywhere. At night, light pollution is low, the stars shine bright and you can even see the milky way.The parking was fine for my car, which is not small, although you have to be careful entering and exiting. The street is very quiet though.From the house you can drive to lots of dog-friendly places, beaches and National Trust (NT) such as Lanhydrock, most seem to be within 20 mins. Note: if you go to the gorgeous Lansallos beach it is very quiet. There is an NT carpark at the top but the walk back up the footpath is VERY steep!Overall, me and my dog had a wonderful time as we were also lucky enough to be blessed with warm, sunny weather - great for October. Many thanks Madeleine."

"The apartment is in a fantastic location and the view from the lounge window across the beach is stunning. The apartment is a bit dated but everything we needed for the weeks stay for the two of us. Pictures on here are exactly how the apartment is.You pay for what you get so if you want a luxury stay this isn't for you - but if you want somewhere to sleep, have breakfast and come back for the evening this is your place. Great communication prior to our visit with details for entry and parking and making sure all was okay. Itinerary said fridge has a freezer compartment but its a new fridge so it doesn't have one - just in case people were thinking of taking frozen food. Wifi is available in the apartment so also a bonus."

"The cottage was beautifully decorated, with a lovely theme throughout, and was very clean and tidy.We really appreciated the thoughtful treats left for us on arrival, as well as the essentials such as cooking oil, tea and coffee. Mario’s also kindly allowed us to check in early as soon as the cottage was ready, which was a great help.Having two keys was also very convenient for our family.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We would also highly recommend to others.Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!"
