Only negative (unless you are a trainspotter) is the adjacent railway line but trains are no more frequent than about one every 10 minutes and don't run through the night. "Comfortable bed and great restaurant. Nice elevated location and I'm sure it's nice sitting out front or using the pool in the summer. Easy walk into Penzance. I'm sure sea-facing rooms are nicer, mine looked out over a back yard with junk in it, and with the window open I could hear an extractor fan from the kitchen (I believe), so pay attention to room location!"
