"I stayed with my grown up son & we need 2 beds , so we reserved a room with 2 beds . The beds & pillows were really good , but unfortunately, the single beds were too small for us !"

"I can’t fault this hotel for the location - it’s the reason we have stayed here twice this year. But honestly, the whole hotel needs ripping out and starting again to bring it up to date. There are limited plugs in all rooms. None of them have any plugs near the bed. There are NO USB sockets anywhere. There is no aircon, and the air cooling system fails when it gets too hot. The showers are weak and badly positioned. There is (poor quality) handwash in the bathrooms, but no complimentary toiletries or basic vanity kits. There are, however, plenty of towels in each room and of a good size. The beds are comfortable. If you want to blow dry your hair, you can only see yourself in the dressing mirror if you’re over 6ft tall. The hotel is currently refurbing the lobby reception area, and the noise of works throughout the day is hugely disruptive in rooms, even 3 floors above. If you’re jet lagged or wanting a lie in, sleep is the last thing you’ll get. I also have security concerns as anyone can enter the hotel lifts and access any floor of the hotel, no room keys are required to operate them."

"The staff were very helpful and polite. The lobby was very comfy, as was the bed in the room. Stayed nice and cool in there during the heatwave. Very solid climate control. Room was already cool when I got there, which was a nice touch. Didn't really use any of the amenities. Pool table in the reception area wasn't working for some reason. They mentioned they were replacing it in the next few days. Very good place to stay if you're working in the wharf and need to stay overnight or if you're visiting London in general. Close to both the DLR and Elizabeth lines. Also buses to Stratford, the Isle of Dogs and Blackheath. Amazing views. A+. Would absolutely stay again."

"I stayed at this hotel for several nights, the room was clean and quiet, although it was cold (17 C) as I could not adjust the temperature by the thermostat. The location initially appeared to be difficult to get to as I had a long walk from the Metro (Overground). I later found that there is a bus route that stops by very close to the hotel, so I was able to use that which made it very convenient. The restaurant was large and spacious. The scenery is very good as it is located on the riverside which affords views of the office buildings across the river."

"We had a good stay at the Park Plaza for 9 nights. The location is terrific, short walk to Uber Boat, Westminster tube and Waterloo train station. Great views of Big Ben and Parliment buildings. The room was comfortable and clean. Primo Bar, Ichi, and Illy Cafe all had great service and food. Disappointed with Brasserie Joel, food was over cooked and the staff were not friendly at all. They have "prawns" as an appetizer but they were more like salad shrimp. The filet was boring and chewy. This restaurant was not busy and I see why. The hotel is worth the money to stay there."

"I loved the location and the hotel was very clean, as was my room. But, the layout of the room left a little something to be desired. I understand rooms in Europe are smaller but this one it was more the features that caused consternation. The bed could only be raised and lowered on one side. The bed was not super comfortable. And the entire room layout was a bit awkward. I really loved the area and the staff were all super nice, so I would stay here again...I just might try a different layout room."
