Private and quaint 2 bedroom waterfront cottage - 10 minutes from Georgetown

"If you like secluded/private paradise right off your back porch do not look any further. I will go as far as I had some of my best days here. It’s not the ritz as the little signs say on the property, but for us it’s much more and better. We were snorkeling every day here, finding sting rays, starfishes and all kinds of cute looking fish. Drinking our morning coffee at the gazeboo on the shore. Take the kayak out to explore the little islands across. There is some beautiful snorkeling around them. Enjoy the breathtaking sunsets. The screened in porch is perfect to watch the hummingbirds coming to feed all day long. They are adorable The host is just awesome and lovely. We never wanted to leave. This place definitely marks a very special spot in our hearts forever and can’t wait to come back!"

"Spectacular - like Fantasy Island! Blue Hues was an impeccable rental, well appointed, very clean, completely updated, and breathtakingly lovely! If I could go beyond five stars, I would, - we loved this location and home so much!We were a party of eight (3 adults, 5 teenagers) and rented the main house and the guest house - the guest house is an absolute gem and well worth it!The house is centrally located on the island, a short drive north to excursions and a short drive south to Georgetown and other excursions. Grocery stores, liquor, store, stores, pizza and ice cream are all nearby. This house is fantastic seclusion with the ability to get to anything fairly quickly!The views were fantastic all day, every day! The outdoor shower, hammock, and grill were used regularly. They have floats for the pool, lifejackets, masks/fins, kayaks - basically anything you might need! The beach was secluded, and you could lounge in the pool and take in the beautiful vista if you wanted to escape from the salt water! The owners are fantastic communicators, incredibly helpful, and do everything to make certain that your stay is outstanding. I cannot stress us enough, you should definitely rent here! We will be back! "

"Breath taking home & wonderful host! Jack and his team made this trip so easy and fun. Before we even landed on the island Jack provided numerous suggestions for shopping, eating & entertainment! The house itself was so comfortable and the space is amazing literally 10 steps from the ocean with a private bea! My family kayaked to Moriah National Park twice! First time we ended up in a secluded bay surrounded by mangroves with green sea turtles swimming around! Once you get to the lazy river which leads to the national park make sure you walk to the ocean side and you'll be greated with a view that'll leave you speechless (it's worth the effort!) The house is a short drive from Tropic of Cancer Beach which is another must see spot. It's hard to put the beauty of that place into words. One evening we had a private chef cook for us based on Jack's recommendation and the meal was exceptional! I can't stress enough how Jack's team made this trip easy to navigate, he even explained how the check in process and flight home would go. We ended up at the restraunt across the street from the airport and had a great meal before the flight! If you want a great Bahamas experience you have to stay at the Bahama Island House! If your're nervous about traveling to a slightly remote island, dont be. Jack is the type of host that will make sure you are taken care of throughout the trip and wants his guests to have a truly wonderful experience!"

"We loved our stay here! Our room was super clean and roomy! The view was beautiful! Front desk attendants were very friendly and helpful as was the entire staff. Boat transfers to the beach club were awesome. The beach club was so much fun. Great location and delicious apps and drinks. Thanks, Andy, for making our day so memorable with our inflatable, food, drinks, kayaking, and island information! You can actually walk or Kayak to Chat N Chill and The Snappy Turtle! There’s also another beach club next door you can check out and we rented a boat from Minns right across the street, which took us to the most beautiful sandbars, turquoise waters, Chat n Chill, and The Coconut Club bar which had great, vacation vibes. There is a quaint little coffee shop right across the street that we visited. Peace and plenty location is amazing because the straw market is right next-door as well as boutique across the street and only a very short walk to the grocery store and liquor store. We went to the fish fry on Friday and tried out a few different spots. We also enjoyed scrumptious food at the hotel restaurant! Loved the steel drum band Friday evening! Great Exumas is gorgeous! Thank you Peace and Plenty for an h forgettable anniversary/birthday celebration!"

"I have just returned from Jack’s Island House with 10 college friends celebrating our 60th birthdays. The house was perfect for us! The large screen porch was wonderful for hanging out on, and for the night we had a chef come in. The plunge pool was an amazing way for us to relax at the end of the day. The house was equipped with everything we needed including kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling equipment. We loved floating to the sandbar, snorkeling under the dock and absorbing all of the beauty. We can’t wait to book our next trip!"
