"Great place to stay. It was a pleasant surprise. Very quiet, and comfortable. It has a very nice kitchen although we didn't use it, but their are very good restaurants close by. The bathroom could use a larger vanity. The TV had closed caption displayed all the time. Couldn't get rid of it. Brandy couldn't figure it out either. Otherwise she was excellent."

"This is an older property that has been well renovated. The room was clean, the amenities were fine, and the bed was comfortable. Nothing was outstanding - quality of the bedding, pillows, linens, furniture, etc. But everything was more than acceptable. I've stayed in far nicer accommodations for less money but I think the price is fair for Long Beach."

"The staff was so accommodating in moving our room to a room adjoining and connecting with my parents room, as we had made separate reservations and it was nice to be able to share a living room when we got there the next day. The rooms were on a top floor so that we had nice views of the ocean from our balconies. The sound of the surf is awesome. The location is right on the dunes leading to the beach and the start of the paved Discovery Trail…the front desk had bikes available for its guests to use for just $5 an hour and we enjoyed traveling down the trail and checking out the statues. Very dog friendly and kite friendly as well! Perfect place for kite-flying! And best bakery down the road at Dylan’s Cottage Bakery…a must."
