Basically, this place would be great for a group of people who come to London to party all night and will just sleep most of the day (except for cruising Oxford Street and Regent Street shopping) and don’t really care that the whole place smells like mold (we have pictures of mold on the bed frames and tub). Location is great in this context, right in the middle of SoHo near lots of pubs and restaurants. Also in walking distance to tourist attractions but if you’re a tourist then the nightly SoHo party scene might keep you awake at night so you’ll miss the touring during the day (unless you keep the fans on all night, which our kids needed to do to sleep). Fridge is dorm-sized, kitchen exists but don’t expect to make an actual meal in it. Dining room and living room are comfortable and accommodating. Two of the three bedrooms are quite large and well furnished, the full-size bed barely fits into the third bedroom and that one has a really small bathroom with a tub that’s so narrow I’m surprised I didn’t fall. Same goes for the staircase, really narrow and challenging to negotiate. Upstairs bathroom is quite large with a great shower; it also has a washer-dryer unit that didn’t dry (or maybe we just didn’t know how to use it properly) and it honestly sounds like a bunch of pigeons are living right above the ceiling (like you could hear the clicking when they walked around and heard cooing all night). So again, not really for a family vacation but great maybe for partying.
