We stayed at Tadema House between the 1st and the 9th of April. At first, we were a bit cautious because there hadn’t been any previous visitors and the apartment had zero testimonials. But we were pleasantly surprised. The price we paid was fair, and overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The apartment was generally quite spacious. It has two bedrooms with plenty of room to store alllll your unnecessary clothes and souvenirs. The single beds were a bit small but we’re not very tall either, so it worked for us.
Additionally, the kitchen was very well-equipped - it had a table, electric appliances (stove, kettle, washing machine, etc.), and everything seemed to be working just fine.
The living room was great too. It had a nice flat screen and a big couch we could chill on. It even had an HDMI cable connected to the TV — we really, really appreciated that. Good move, thanks!
As for the people we interacted with regarding the apartment, they were very helpful, kind, and easy to reach by phone.
Now, a few minor downsides (which we honestly didn’t mind at all): the cleanliness and the heat. Let’s say it was 8/10 clean — it could use some improvement, but overall it was fine. Also, some things were a little cracked, but really, who cares? It was such a nice apartment that we didn’t mind a few small flaws.
But boy, was it warm. Some people might like this, but we’d wake up sweaty — so if you book this place, definitely bring light clothes.
As for the neighborhood, it felt quiet and safe (as far as we could tell).
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting London.
Anyone over 1.85m should probably avoid sleeping on the single beds.
