Ramada by Wyndham London

8/10 Good

"Was just aroom for the night. Didn't do anything other than sleep and shower. Can't complain."

Comfort Inn London - Wellington Road

8/10 Good

"We stayed in newly renovated room. Very nice and clean. Friendly staff. Lots of restaurants nearby. Did not have a fridge or microwave, however, a staff member assisted us in getting access to a microwave. Buffet was plentiful. Unfortunately the warmer burners were not turned on therefore the hot items were cold. Reasonably price. I would stay again."

Delta Hotels by Marriott London Armouries

10/10 Excellent

"Approaching the hotel, I was confronted by an odd marriage of old and new. The old brick bastion stood in squat contrast to the glass and steel tower of the new hotel. Could this odd marriage work? We were guided inside by two valets. They were our introduction to a staff who delivered consistently warm and excellent service in all aspects of our stay. The challenge for the hotel is to maintain the level of excellent service. I don't see how that could improve. We had dinner at the Cantata. The menu offered a wonderful variety of choices. I went with the Pad Thai. An excellent dish that was served by a just wonderful waitress who was warm, helpful and a positive multiplier for our dinner. We stayed in a corner room with a king bed. The window offered a nice view of downtown London. The room was very clean and practically appointed. We enjoyed a good night's rest. We enjoyed breakfast in the hotel grill. While a fine looking breakfast buffet was offered, I was delighted to see overnight oats on the menu. I'm glad that I went with that. Of course, our wait staff member delivered the same excellent and warm service. I enjoyed a swim in the hotel pool after breakfast. The locker room was clean and practically appointed. I didn't have the time to use the sauna in the Men's locker room. That solely populated my list of regrets about our visit. We were asked when we would return. Our return stay at the Armories is assured."
