"Overall, our experience was very good. There were 2 issues that affected our stay. The first was the internet was not working when we arrived, however the host was quick to respond and the problem was resolved on the same day. The second issue was there were ants in the kitchen and when it rained, the upstairs bedroom. The reserved outside parking spot was very convenient, where as, the garage parking was tight. "The stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Most descriptions were adequate and we found what we expected. Some problems with the water supply were promptly repaired after we informed the owner (Thanks to him - overcoming some language barriers!). The only aspect which was less ideal was the description of the way to get there. The description could be improved as we arrived late in the dark and therefore pathfinding was a bit confusing. "Die Aussicht ist einfach grandios! Die Wohnung zweckmäßig ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir genossen auch die himmlische Ruhe. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist sehr steil und eng. Daher haben wir das Auto meist stehen gelassen. Den Weg zu Fuß sahen wir dann als tägliche Sporteinheit Im Ort gibt es genügend Restaurants und 2 Eisdielen. Der Lebensmittelmarkt ist sehr gut sortiert. Danke noch für die Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung! Es dauert sehr, sehr lange bis warmes Wasser aus der Leitung kommt!"

"We had a great 1 night stay at Hotel Berna. Our room was ready early, the desk attendant gave us a great lunch recommendation (Mama Rosa), the bed was comfortable, a/c strong, exceptional water pressure in the shower (best we had in Italy) and the breakfast is everything they say and more. 5 stars. You can’t beat the location if looking for something close to the train station. We would absolutely stay here again."

"This was a great 4 night stay. Room was good, the pool was great ( note it’s about waist depth), the roof top bar was nice and laundry we requested to be done was returned later the same day . The breakfast was really good but every day was consistently understaffed . The staff were working extremely hard and efficiently but every day we had to wait for clean plates ( some of which weren’t clean) , glasses for juice , cups for coffee, buns, bread etc which was very frustrating . Although they were trying to check room numbers on entry and collect payment if needed they were so busy and so many people were coming in they walked straight in so who knows if they should have paid or not . Again the staff were fantastic but more staff need to be there . ( and we weren’t there at the peak times noted in the elevators )"

"The Palace Hotel, although pricey, was worth it for location, breakfast that was included daily and the Patio Garden restaurant was excellent! The ferry doc and ticket booth were right across the street which made it easy to use the ferry to get around the lake. The staff was excellent and helping make dinner reservations, suggest nearby restaurants to try, book our private boat tour, and also booked a private transfer for us back to Milan. We were extremely impressed when a Maserati arrived for a private transfer. The room was awesome even though we did not have a view of the lake, that did not bother us since we were only using it to sleep. They advertise the room as having a double bed, the to our surprise. It was a king-size bed! Would definitely stay here again"
