Charming family house in peace, between palges and salt marshes

Charming renovated holiday home on the Ile de Ré, in the heart of the village of Loix, between beaches and salt marshes. The house has a main building with a large living room, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and 2 toilets. The house overlooks a pretty interior courtyard with a gravel area and a sand area where an olive tree and oleander stands in front of an old stone wall. There is also a splendid climbing rose at the entrance of the house. The inner courtyard and the garden are a haven of peace for relaxing, taking naps or organizing a barbecue. The house is in a private subdivision: Villa Blanche at n7, there is a private parking space. A flowery alley leads to the center of the village of Loix which is 200m on foot. You will find there all the shops to stock up on supplies: bakery, butcher, excellent fish shop at Manu, "a" charming intalian caterer, a covered market and two restaurants. The square in front of the church is very pretty, shaded, with pétanque ground. The market is daily on the village square during the summer.
The house is 5 minutes by bike from Grouin beach (ideal with children). While strolling, you will discover other small beaches in Loix, secret and wild.
The cycle path is at the entrance of the housing estate and you can go visit all the other villages of the island. We encourage you to use the car as little as possible, everything can be done by bicycle… and it's good for the planet! You will follow the sea, the salt marshes, the pretty port of Loix, the olive trees, the vineyards ... and further on, the forest.
For the more active, in the artisanal village of Loix, it is possible to indulge in tennis, squach, canoeing, sailing at La Plage des Prises, stand up paddle at Les Prises, horse riding,… and even baptism in ULM. There are many other 'activities offered by Michael on
In the craft village, you can still visit a soap factory, a honey house (interesting visit and activities for children). The Quillet workshop will delight lovers of books, comics, recent and old posters.
From Loix beach you can still do your jogging in the direction of the Fier d'Ars or in the direction of the small port of Loix and St Martin.
A tourist tax of 40 E per week (package) 4-7 people will be required upon your arrival.
The tourist tax is lowered to 20 E when a maximum of 3 people reside.
