"Beautifully furnished ground floor accommodation with everything you might need. Owner was friendly and helpful and spoke enough English to communicate with us (we speak very little german). The view of the castle is impressive from the decking. The castle is worth a visit and there are very good waymarked paths which go through Alken. The village is a very short walk where there are nice restaurants and a few shops including a small supermarket and a bakery. Cochem is a bigger town with lots...

"Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich vorstellen kann. Es ist nicht nur eine Ferienwohnung, es ist als wäre man zu Hause. Besonders genossen habe wir den Ausblick auf die Mosel und konnten uns gar nicht satt sehen. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr herzlich. Es wurde für uns in einem Restaurant ein Tisch bestellt und auch sonst haben wir viele Tipps bekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt."
