"The old vicarage was extremely spacious with lovely gardens - perfect for two families to spend time together. We especially enjoyed the lovely sea views from the veranda - a great place to relax with a glass of wine while the children played football or bounced on the trampoline. The apartment was also perfectly located - a short walk from the beach/minigolf and a range of good restaurants, and easy access to the various sights of the Isle of Wight. "Everything was clean, comfortable and welcoming. I would highly recommend for families and being on the costal path was a treat. The sea views from the windows was amazing."

"Super cute apartment! The owners are super nice! We met them since we knocked on the main house door thinking it was the same place! Very close to the beach and the train!"

"Great position overlooking the sea. Beds were comfortable and check-in was straightforward. Great onsite parking.
Would be helpful to bins in the bathrooms and perhaps in the bedrooms as well.
Can imagine it would be very hot in the summer."

"We loved our stay at Colonels Apartment. The apartment was clean and welcoming upon our arrival. The location was perfect! It was amazing to open our front door and see the beach and the sea. It is literally a stones throw from the beach which was ideal for having little ones. It is also great how close to the play park it was. The apartment was everything we hoped for, for a lovely week away!"

"We loved our stay for half term, despite the weather, we really enjoyed the farm, all the activities and eating at The Cow onsite. So accessible with free and easy parking; it's what we love about staying at Tapnell Farm as the facilities are second to none.
The chalet was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed BUT a bit tired in places and really needs a new lick of paint to brighten it up."

"Very comfortable , home from home with everything that you could need for a relaxing break.
Our stay was enjoyed by us and our two dogs, the village is very peaceful and has a good selection of independent shops.
Curated Spaces were instantly on hand to answer any questions before and during our stay.
Couldn't have asked for more. Looking forward to visiting again."

"Stayed quite a few times here. The bed on this occasion was not in a good state. Both bases on the double bed were sagging in the middle so it was not good occasion"
"From arrival, the staff were not welcoming and made me feel as though I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. Throughout my stay, I found the service to be unfriendly and unhelpful.
I was also disappointed that the gym and pool were only open for a limited period during the day. This is not practical for guests who are staying in town for work and are out during standard daytime hours.
While the room itself was acceptable, there were several maintenance and convenience issues:
- The shower appeared poorly maintained and flooded the bathroom every time it was used.
- The TV reception was extremely poor, making it impossible to watch anything properly.
- Parking arrangements were also frustrating, as it was actually cheaper to use the car park at the front of the building than the hotel’s own car park.
Overall, the stay did not provide the standard of service or facilities I expected."
"Great place to stay
Very central and a short walk to most things
No A/C but fortunately the weather was cool
The biggest complaint is not being able to open the windows because of a security strap. This was a great disadvantage"
"Visited whilst they are under some form of renovation, so lifts weren't working and it was a maze trying to find our rooms as there were no signs up. Lot's of construction mess everywhere.
Breakfast was pretty poor, sausages seemed to have been cooked for 5days as they were tough as anything.
Best thing was the evening meal in the restaurant, very nice food. The staff were all very polite and helpful.
Stayed here as we were visiting the historic dockyards and the location was perfect for this."
