"Dirty, unkept"

"Location within 15 minute drive of downtown museums. Easy to get around. Close to Lake Springfield. Plenty of parking. Arcade games were good but ping pong, pool cues and darts need updated. Paddles were torn, cues had no tips, and no darts all broken. The theater room projector we never got working nor the TV in the bunk bed room. Host tried to remedy providing ideas but did not work for us. The home was great however the TVs and Theater room were a bust for us."

"It is a beautiful property. Didn’t realize we would have people upstairs that we could hear walking around half the night. It was a bit dusty. As most of my family have dust allergies and it was affecting them."

"Great place. Loved the furniture …. Brought me back to visiting my grandmothers house."

"We loved the home and had a wonderful time. I would suggest that the kitchen would be a bit better stocked. (no coffee filters, no salt & pepper)I would also suggest the staff checks the light bulbs periodically for being burned out (we had several) "

"We had awesome communication with the host."

"Such a cool house with large bedrooms and lots of windows. The host did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The air conditioner died just before we arrived, but multiple potable ac units and lots of fans kept us cool. Central location made it easy to get around - even within walking distance of a beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright house! Kitchen supplies are a little parse if planning to make complex meals. Would definitely come back and plan to check out their other historic homes."
