"We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool, which was a great bonus. In the evening, we dined at the waterfront restaurant opposite the hotel and the food was absolutely delicious. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with great blackout blinds and an exceptionally comfy bed that ensured a perfect night’s sleep. We woke refreshed and enjoyed the included buffet breakfast, which offered a wide variety of tasty food and drinks. Overall, we had a brilliant experience and would happily return again in the future. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed for two nights in the lovely Darwin room. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, with everything I needed (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh water, toiletries). Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic! Chosen from a menu and freshly made to order it was high quality and non greasy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Loopy Shrew is in the heart of charming Shrewsbury and just a short ten minute walk from the station so easily accessed from there and very easy to find. The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout. There were lots of leaflets and information on things to do and places to see during your stay. A great base from which to explore the town and surrounding area. I highly recommend."

"My room was absolutely lovely. A very cosy single with a comfy bed, great radio and TV, tea and coffee facilities and a brilliant shower and bathroom. It was all fantastically clean and I was very impressed. Also all the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Finally, although I don't eat much at breakfast, the scrambled eggs and tomato was delicious. I wish I could have gone of the Welsh breakfast! "
