We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. "We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."

"Located in the centre of town and with a car park which is very useful. Really helpful communication prior to arrival and a friendly welcome. The room was big and comfortable. A good selection at breakfast. We stayed here for one night to break up a bigger journey and would not hesitate to book again if we had to repeat this."

"Loved its location, just a short walk from the beach, although slightly steep. Free parking. We loved the hotel, although it appeared a little dated and maybe required some upkeep, it had great facilities and staff. It had a swimming pool, a pool table in a conservatory with tables. The rooms were great, we had the family studio and it had a large bedroom, great comfy bed, through which was a small kitchenette, with dining table and another 2 single beds and a fan. Couldn't fault the space. The only thing I would say is that if the curtains were blackout, we would have had a better sleep. We really liked it and would stay again"

Glass in bathroom over looked the main house and could be seen through (needs top of window screening) stuck towel over it. One one tea spoon at the breakfast table. Two chairs needed to watch TV only one provided. Needed more flowers and generally prettying up. Could be so much nicer there."
