"I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there.
I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite.
The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet. We stayed on a Saturday night and the hotel was booked out, but besides hearing some light noise above us the next day, it was...

"We had a comfy stay at the Nautical Nest. Check-in was super easy. The room was clean and spacious. The AC unit helped keep the room cool on a hot day but turned off and on during the night which is a helpful energy saver but not great for sleep.
