"Really friendly hosts, drinks and cake on arrival as well as facilities in the room. Lovely gardens. Breakfast was excellent. We left some stuff behind by mistake which is kindly being posted back to us. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"We had a gorgeous stay at Bridge Cottage, such a welcome pitstop if you're walking the South Downs Way or visiting the local area. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, Miranda is a wonderful host and the location is perfect to enjoy some of the local pubs. We'd highly recommend and will be back! "

"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!"

"Everything was fine, the room quiet. well-ecorated, clean and warm and there were nice extras - orange juice and porridge oats and plenty of tea and coffee. However the en suite shower room was a tight fit for my husband who is 6'4" so we would check if there was a larger en suite another time."

"Air conditioning was fantastic in our room over a hot August weekend. Fabulous location- right along the pride parade route next to the beach. Room was nice & quiet. Breakfast was good too."
"I would truly recommend , beautiful , outstanding service , excellent , views are to die for , lovely area and friendly .
Its worth everything , we will definately come back ."
"Good stay at the hotel. Bed was comfortable and a good night's sleep. Shower gel was empty in the room and needed topping up. Wide variety of breakfast items as long as you do not have any allergies. Tongs used for breakfast items were used for multiple items meaning high risk of cross contamination. Bagels were still cold in the centre (even after toasting)"
"The location was perfect and easy to find. Check in and check out was easy. The hotel owner was very helpful on arrival.
The property wasn’t the tidiest, did feel like it was in the middle of being renovated."
